Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time, detail-oriented Site Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical Background) to oversee all our Fire Fighting projects.
Monitoring on-site day-to-day activities and reporting the progress status to the Fire Fighting Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Execution:
Overseeing the installation of firefighting systems such as sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, and related equipment.
Coordination:
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure
timely delivery and proper installation.
Quality Control:
Conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant codes (e.g., NFPA, IS codes).
Documentation and Reporting:
Preparing daily progress reports, material requisitions, and maintaining records of site work and materials.
Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving issues related to fire fighting equipment during installation and
commissioning.
Testing and Commissioning:
Assisting in the testing and commissioning of fire fighting systems to ensure operational readiness.
Safety Compliance:
Implementing safety measures, conducting safety audits, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Technical Support:
Providing technical guidance and support to the site team regarding fire fighting systems.
Material Management:
Managing the procurement and utilization of fire fighting materials.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Interacting with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: - 2+ Year in Fire system field.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of firefighting systems, including their design,
installation, and maintenance.
Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage project timelines and resources.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with various teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to fire fighting systems.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Educational Background: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or a Diploma in Fire & Safety
