Job description
Job Title: Senior Executive – Finance
Location : Magarpatta, Pune, India
Purpose of the Role:
The role aims to support the Finance team in:
• Preparing accurate and timely financial information for management
• Managing the governance flow of supplier charges to business units
• Handling monthly headcount projections
• Producing financial reports and MIS data for company’s offshore operations
• Generating ad hoc reports as required
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Review supplier invoices and raise invoices to business units
• Extract data from Oracle and prepare management reports (Actual vs Budget) at:
o Total company level
o Cost Centre level
• Provide high-level financial commentary on variances
• Collate headcount forecasts from business units and prepare consolidated reports
• Support budget and forecasting cycles by coordinating with stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
Key Deliverables (Outputs)
• Monthly invoicing to business units (including supplier billing & costs)
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual headcount forecasts
• Monthly expense reports (Actual vs Budget with commentary)
• Cost centre-wise expense reports for stakeholders
• Monthly performance packs for senior leadership
• Ad hoc financial reports for Head of Finance / Executive VP
Stakeholder Management
Internal:
• Finance teams across business units (UK, Europe, Sri Lanka, North America)
• Internal departments
• Head of Finance and finance team members
External:
• Supplier finance and contract teams
Key Relationships:
• Manage financial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with suppliers for data, documentation, and clarifications
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for governance and reporting
Qualifications:
• Graduate / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter
Skills & Competencies:
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A)
• Cost Management & Control
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Oracle (preferred)
• Contract review & governance exposure (preferred)
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• Planning and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to influence and negotiate
Experience:
• 2–3 years of relevant finance experience
• Experience working with MNCs preferred
• Exposure to global stakeholders and cross-cultural environments
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
